About Us
The SGA Romania Student Chapter was established in 2026 by first-year students from the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics (FGG), with the idea of creating a space where students can explore their interest in geoscience beyond the classroom.
We believe that studying the Earth is about more than learning facts and identifying rocks. It's about being curious about how things work, making connections between different fields, asking questions, and finding the excitement in understanding something you didn't understand before.
Our goal is to bring students together around that curiosity - to encourage them to explore, share knowledge, learn from one another, and become more involved in the geosciences.
